CompTIA Linux+

The CompTIA Linux+ Certification course builds on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with the Linux operating system to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job in any type of Linux career.

Course Objectives

  • You will acquire the skills needed to install and support one or more distributions of the Linux operating system.
  • You will learn information and skills that will be helpful as you prepare for the CompTIA Linux+ certification examination, 2004 objectives (exam number XK0-002).


Prerequisites

CompTIA A+ certification, or the equivalent skills and knowledge, is helpful but not required. Students may wish to take both of the following at ABCO Technology courses:
A+™ Certification: Core Hardware (Third Edition) a CompTIA Certification. A+™ Certification: Operating Systems (Third Edition) a CompTIA Certification.
