After completing this certification students will be able to:

• Explain the Microsoft .NET Framework

• Create a component in Visual Basic .NET or C#.

• Create an .NET Web application project by using Visual Studio .NET.

• Add server controls to an ASP.NET Web Form.

• Create and populate ASP.NET Web Forms.

By earning the premier MCSD credential, individuals demonstrate that they have the skills necessary to lead organizations in the successful design, implementation, and administration of business solutions with Microsoft products. An MCSD candidate should have two years of experience developing and maintaining solutions and applications. MCSD candidates are required to pass four core exams and one elective exam.

An MCSD candidate should have two years of experience developing and maintaining solutions and applications.

The ability to create HTML or DHTML, including:

• Tables

• Images

• Forms

Programming experience using Visual Basic .NET, including:

• Declaring variables

• Using loops

• Using conditional statements
  

The entire duration to complete the certification is 200 hours. Each course will take approximate 40 hours or 5 weeks to complete including the labs and training. Students can schedule classes on a Monday to Friday schedule or select two classes per week to spend more time learning and practicing.
