This course is designed for new administrators who wish to obtain the Oracle Professional database Administration with release of 10g. To obtain the Certified Database Administrator credential students must successfully complete their hands -on training and pass all three of the following certification modules - 1) Oracle Database 10g: Introduction to SQL Part I 2) Oracle Database 10g: Introduction to SQL Part II 3) Oracle Database 10g: Administration I

Prerequisites

Course Duration

To ensure the students success in this course ABCO's industry experts have recommended the following courses or subsequent knowledge in the following areas prior to enrolling in the Oracle Database Administrator Program:

Knowledge of Maintaing and managing a Network Operating System - Managing and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Network
Systems Administration with Linux / Unix
Knowledge of Basic Database Fundamentals - Access Levels 1 - 4

The Oracle Database Administration Certification program is completed in 120 hours of practical Hands -on training and lecture classes.

Classes for oracle Database Administration are scheduled twice per week and students have the option of scheduling a weekend or an evening class. ABCO also offers accelarated programs with which students can complete their entire Database Certification in a period of 3 - 4 weeks by comming to class on a schedule of Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
